Sheet metal folding
In this category, you'll find all the sheet metal foldings we can produce for you in a short time from raw or galvanised sheet steel.
No stock items – each profile is custom-made to order. Always enter all dimensions as internal dimensions ! Be sure to refer to the dimensional sketch for each item and the sample photos of the finished profile – clamping marks will appear on the profiles during production.
Our custom profiles are manufactured individually for you!
To do this, our employees first cut the base material from sheet metal. In the second step, the sheet metal is pressed into the desired shape in a press brake. During the pressing process, clamping marks naturally appear on the profile at the contact points: these are scratches of varying depth parallel to the bent edge.
These indentations are created when the press presses the sheet metal into the die with the upper tool. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided and is also evident in mass-produced metal goods such as angle brackets. If you have ordered profiles with additional holes, we will then drill the holes into the profile according to your sketch. We offer the following profile shapes for easy self-configuration:
- L-profiles: We offer this simplest profile type with a bevel at any angle between 45 and 175 degrees. They are often used as edge protection and for countless other purposes.
- U-profile: A profile with two edges facing in the same direction. Angles between 45 and 175 degrees are possible, as long as the edges aren't too close together. Often used as a cover strip, wall connection profile, or edging for wood panels.
- Z-profile: A profile with two edges, but facing in opposite directions. Angles between 45 and 175 degrees are possible, as long as the edges aren't too close together. Z-profiles are often used as edge protection, for edging worktops, or as transition sills on laminate surfaces. They're also useful as repair panels for side sills or generally for stiffening steel structures.
- Z-profiles with back fold: This is a profile with three folds: two in the same direction, one in the opposite direction. This back fold can be designed as a drip edge. To do this, select 45° for angle C.
- C-profiles: These profiles have four right-angled edges in the same direction. Viewed from the side, they form the shape of the letter C—an open box profile. This opening must be large enough for production. They are often used in drywall construction, for example, as stud profiles for partition walls.
- Hat profiles: These profiles have four right-angled edges; the two inner ones face the same direction, the outer ones face the opposite direction. These profiles are also often used in drywall construction, for installing ceiling or wall paneling.
