Sheet metal folding

In this category, you'll find all the sheet metal profiles we can bend for you from aluminum sheet. Depending on the profile, you can choose from the following sheet types or designs: plain sheet, natural or painted on one side in RAL 7016, 9016, or DB 703, as well as duet or quintet checkered sheet.
No stock items - each profile is custom-made to order. Always enter all dimensions as internal dimensions! Be sure to refer to the dimensional sketch for each item and the sample photos of the finished profile - clamping marks will occur on the profiles during production.

Our custom profiles are manufactured individually for you!

To do this, our employees first cut the base material from sheet metal. Due to cutting on guillotine shears and subsequent handling, both sides of the sheet will exhibit scratches. Aluminum is a relatively soft metal! The scratches can therefore be deep. Your sheet may also have circular indentations from the sheet hold-down device of the shears.

In the second step, the sheet is pressed into the desired shape in a press brake.
During the pressing process, clamping marks naturally appear on the profile at the contact points: these are scratches of varying depth parallel to the bent edge. These indentations are caused when the press presses the sheet into the die with the upper tool. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided with natural aluminum and thicker sheets.
A protective film is applied to the visible side of painted sheets at the factory. The film protects thin sheets (up to approx. 1.5 mm thick) on the visible side during bending, but we cannot completely rule out visible clamping marks even on the film-coated side!

If you have ordered profiles with additional holes, we will then drill holes in the profile according to your sketch.

We offer the following profile shapes for easy self-configuration:

L-profiles: This is the simplest profile type and is available with a fold at any angle between 45 and 175 degrees. Often used as edge protection and for countless other purposes.
U-profiles: A profile with two folds in the same direction. Different angles between 45 and 175 degrees are possible, as long as the edges are not too close together. Often used as cover strips, wall connection profiles or edging for wooden panels.
Z-profiles: A profile with two folds, but in opposite directions. Different angles between 45 and 175 degrees are possible, as long as the edges are not too close together. Z-profiles are often used as edge protection, for edging worktops or as transition thresholds on laminate surfaces.
Z-profiles with a folded back: This is a profile with three folds, two in the same direction and one in the opposite direction. This back edge can be used as a drip edge for roofing purposes, for example. To do this, select 45° for angle C.
C-profiles: These profiles have four right-angled edges in the same direction. Viewed from the side, they form the shape of the letter C—an open box profile. This opening must be large enough for production. Often used in drywall construction, for example, as a stud profile for partition walls.
Hat profiles: These profiles have four right-angled edges; the two inner edges face the same direction, the outer edges face the opposite direction. These profiles are also often used in drywall construction, for installing ceiling or wall paneling.
