Ventilate your workshop, shed, basement, boiler room, or locker; improve air circulation in washrooms, drying rooms, sheds, or garden sheds, and still keep rats, mice, martens, and other pests away. Perfect as forced ventilation or ventilation grilles in recreational vehicles or for building bottle crates for flammable gases. Also very useful as contact protection for heating elements, fans, or rotating tools, shafts, and belt drives. In agriculture, gardening, and construction, perforated sheets are also often used to make sorting boxes.
You also frequently see these sheets as vents on control cabinets, appliances, or server cases. Perforated sheets are also used in the workshop as an organizational aid. Mounted at a slight distance from the wall and equipped with appropriate hooks, they keep your tools organized. They can also be used in the hobby room, in the kitchen for hanging cooking utensils, or even as the back of a coat rack with hooks for accessories or as a key rack.
"Closed cutting edges?"
For an additional charge, we can supply this sheet with smooth cut edges. We can cut lengthwise or along a ridge, but we will need to round your specified dimensions up or down. Select the appropriate option in the configurator menu:
-
" Round up for closed edge": Your selected dimension is the minimum. Your sheet can be up to 15 mm larger in length and width! The edges can vary in width.
-
" Round off dimension for closed edge": Your selected dimension is the maximum. The sheet can be up to 15 mm smaller in length and width! The edges can vary in width.
- "-" (default selection): Precise cutting to your specified dimensions. We cut your sheets from large panels, regardless of the pitch. Here, you can randomly receive sheets from the center of the panel with "teeth" on all sides, as well as sheets from the edges. The panel edges are unperforated over a width of approximately 8-14 mm.
This is how we cut your sheets
Cutting method: Sheets up to and including 10 mm thick are cut on our hydraulic guillotine shears . We have a partner cut sheets in 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm thickness using a laser - this naturally increases the delivery time.
Distortion: When cut with guillotine shears, smaller sheets will twist slightly. Narrow sheet strips in particular will not lie completely flat on a completely flat surface.
Laser-cut sheet metal parts can also deform slightly due to the heat input ( heat distortion ). We cannot prevent or correct warping!
Scratches: Due to general handling, both sides of the sheet will have scratches. The scratches can also be deep. When cutting with guillotine shears, your sheet may have circular marks from the sheet hold-down device on the shears.
Production marks are unfortunately unavoidable, standard practice and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.

Important:
Another note on the subject of rust : These metal sheets are Sendzimir galvanized, but the holes are punched afterward. This means that the corrosion protection is limited on the inside of the holes and, of course, also on the cut edges. Please take this into account if you plan to use these sheets in visible areas or in damp environments.
The material has sharp edges. Please remember to wear suitable protective clothing and gloves when handling them! To avoid injuries, we recommend using them with a surrounding frame or edge protection tape.
