This ground stainless steel sheet is often used for decorative cladding in the household appliance sector, as well as in kitchen and furniture construction. Thanks to its optimal weather resistance, it is also used outdoors as roof cladding, wall coverings, in facade construction, as drip protection or splash guards. Many customers also use these sheets as edge protection or impact protection to protect door leaves from being kicked in. They are also used as heat-conducting sheets, radiation plates or reflectors for lighting installations.
Alloy 1.4301, also known as V2A for short, is the most widely used stainless chromium-nickel steel. Due to its high chemical resistance to water and diluted acids, this steel is in great demand in the food industry and beverage production. Not for use in swimming pools. Contact with seawater should also be avoided, as chloride ions attack the material.
Thanks to their attractive appearance, these sheets have a wide variety of uses in interior design, for example for cladding columns, as wall cladding or decorative strips. The hygienic, easy-care surface is valued in the food industry, container construction, catering, commercial kitchens, counter construction, sanitary facilities, and high-traffic public buildings, especially hospitals.
Our mirror-look and K240 sheets are always film-coated on the visible side. After installation, you can simply remove the protective film.
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible bore diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
Notes: The visible side of the sheet is protected by a film. However, due to cutting with guillotine shears, the non-filmed back of the sheet will exhibit scratches. This is unavoidable, standard, and therefore does not constitute grounds for complaint.
Thicker sheets and narrow strips will twist slightly during cutting, meaning they will twist/bend. The sheet will therefore not lie completely flat on a smooth surface. We cannot prevent or correct this!
We recommend having us deburr the sheets right away – you can select this inexpensive additional service from the dropdown menu on the right.
Non-deburred material has sharp edges. Please remember to wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves!
