The U-profile is a versatile profile that is widely used in a wide variety of applications. Whether in industry, mechanical engineering, or building construction, where custom-made U-profiles are used, for example, as a base for lightweight walls. Whether as a handrail for railings or gutters, as edge protection for walls, worktops, and stair treads, as edging and/or end profiles for shelves, as rails for glass panes, or simply as cable ducts – with U-shaped edge profiles, the possibilities are almost endless.
Advantages of stainless steel U-profiles
The U-shaped stainless steel edge sheets are resistant to weathering. They are resistant to water and moisture, as well as significant temperature fluctuations. Therefore, they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are also extremely easy to clean, making them ideal for a wide range of applications in kitchens, the food industry, and medical settings.

Regardless of whether you want your U-profile to be unequal-sided or equal-sided (please note the input instructions below), you can order your custom-cut U-profile made of stainless steel in various thicknesses here. When configuring the sheet metal bending, you can also specify whether your sheet metal should be manufactured with parallel flanges or whether the sides should be at a specific angle.
Notes on the surface designs

Rolled : This sheet is not coated with foil, and the surface is not further refined. It is as it comes out of the roller—grayish with a slightly milky sheen. Both sides will have scratches/streaks from cutting and edging. The sheet may also have stains or writing/stamps. It is not suitable for demanding visual requirements.

Mirror-like : Resembles a real glass mirror, but does not achieve its brilliance - The visible side is protected by a film and the other side may have scratches from cutting and edges, stains or writing/stamps.

K240 : Fine parallel grooves, sanded lengthwise with a 240 grit abrasive - The visible side is protected by a film and the other side may have scratches from cutting and edging, stains or writing/stamping.
Please note when entering the dimensions: For manufacturing reasons, the web (leg B) must be at least 5 millimeters longer than the shortest other leg.
The profile is supplied without pre-drilled holes; installation is possible by screwing, using adhesive strips, mounting adhesive, or construction foam (mounting material NOT included).
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!

New: Enter either internal or external dimensions!
For our self-bent products, all dimensions are specified as internal dimensions in millimeters as standard . We can easily and reliably maintain your desired product dimensions within our specified tolerances.
However, you may require a specific external dimension for your application. Therefore, as an exception, we offer the option of specifying dimensions as external dimensions . This service is subject to an additional charge!
This is because producing bent parts with specific external dimensions on our machines is significantly more complex. It requires considerable experience and, in many cases, a series of tests with sample pieces.
Please understand the surcharge. Should the results of our tests be unsatisfactory, we will unfortunately have to reject your order – however, this will not incur any costs for you.
