Are you looking for protection for broken or damaged corners, edges and walls?
We have the stable, durable, and timeless solution for your heavily used (corner) areas!
-
All our stainless steel L-brackets are bent to size - please note our information for made-to-measure items !
- Alloy: 1.4301 (bright rolled / K240), 1.4016 (mirror-like, MAGNETIC)
- all dimensions are internal dimensions in mm (10 mm = 1 cm)
- The edges are deburred - less risk of injury during assembly!
Whether in public buildings, retail, industry, hospitals and clinics, restaurants, or even private homes, damaged corners, edges, and walls are a nuisance, whether indoors or outdoors! Sturdy edge protection is essential, as well as being as timeless, decorative, and easy to maintain as possible.
Stainless steel angle brackets – versatile
Our in-house manufactured stainless steel L-profiles are the perfect edge protectors and are also versatile in other ways!
Our stainless steel profiles, corner strips, rails, or angles are used for a variety of purposes, and not only as edge protectors. Their geometry alone makes L-profiles extremely stable. The material (stainless steel, bright rolled, K240 ground, or mirror-like) does the rest – it is robust and not only looks elegant, but also makes the profiles corrosion-resistant and hard-wearing. They are also ideal for edging worktops, as edge protectors for concrete structures, glass structures, or Plexiglas, and even as edge protectors for tiles and wooden stair treads, and they serve a great purpose.
Stainless steel angles, or metal angles in general, are also often referred to as corner brackets, angle profiles, corner strips, or corner rails, edge protection profiles, angle rails, or angle strips, as strip profiles, as corner mirrors, corner protection strips, or corner protection angles, or even as step protectors, and are therefore used in a variety of ways.
Here is a small selection of possible applications for our stainless steel L-profiles:
- Edge protection of walls, corners, edges and walls indoors and outdoors
- Edge protection of concrete structures, glass structures or plexiglass
- Edge protection of tiles or stairs
- Edge protection for passageways or hatches
- Stair nosing profile, step strip
- Impact protection or rebound protection at garage entrances or pillars
- Edging of worktops, window sills and reveals
- End strip (cover strip for roofs and facades, skirting board, baseboard, end angle / end strip, and much more)
- Cable duct or cable cover
- Guide rail or slide-in rail
- decorative strip
- and much more
These L-profiles, manufactured in-house, are ideal for edge protection or for edging wooden countertops or stair treads. They're also ideal for use as cable ducts, cladding, guide or insert strips, decorative strips, or cover strips for outdoor use, roofs, and facades.
Notes on the surface designs and further information:
-
Rolled : This sheet is not coated with foil, and the surface is not further refined. It is as it comes out of the roller—grayish with a slightly milky sheen. Both sides will have scratches/streaks from cutting and edging. The sheet may also have stains or writing/stamps. It is not suitable for demanding visual requirements.
-
Mirror-like : Resembles a real glass mirror, but does not achieve its brilliance - The visible side is protected by a film and the other side may have scratches from cutting and edges, stains or writing/stamps.
-
K240 : Fine parallel grooves, sanded lengthwise with a 240 grit abrasive - The visible side is protected by a film and the other side may have scratches from cutting and edging, stains or writing/stamping.
-
Triple beveling available upon request! Unlike the standard L-profile, the leg edges are additionally beveled slightly inward (see image in the menu). This results in a significantly better connection to the wall.
Important information for configurator items:
-
This item will be custom-made according to your specifications. Please pay careful attention to your measurements, as custom-made items are non-returnable .
-
For bends, specify all dimensions as internal dimensions in millimeters. The external dimensions vary depending on the selected material thickness and the required bending radius. The external dimension increases by at least +1.5 mm for 1 mm material thickness, approximately +2.5 mm for 1.5 mm, and 3.5 mm for 2 mm sheet thickness. (No guarantee)
- The visible side of the sheet is protected by a film. However, due to cutting with guillotine shears and manual production, the uncoated back of the sheet will exhibit scratches (both sides in the case of bright-rolled sheet). These do not affect the function of the item and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.
On request, we can also produce profiles from 2.5 to 5 mm thick material!
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible bore diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
New: Enter either internal or external dimensions!
For our self-bent products, all dimensions are specified as internal dimensions in millimeters as standard . We can easily and reliably maintain your desired product dimensions within our specified tolerances.
However, you may require a specific external dimension for your application. Therefore, as an exception, we offer the option of specifying dimensions as external dimensions . This service is subject to an additional charge!
This is because producing bent parts with specific external dimensions on our machines is significantly more complex. It requires considerable experience and, in many cases, a series of tests with sample pieces.
Please understand the surcharge. Should the results of our tests be unsatisfactory, we will unfortunately have to reject your order – however, this will not incur any costs for you.
