Order sheet metal / steel sheet 1.0 mm (scale-free) cost-effectively from the expert
Steel sheet with a thickness of 1.0 mm is immediately ready for use in industrial or artisan sectors. This fine sheet is ideal for car body repair work as weld-in sheet or car body sheet since it can be welded well with all methods and is, of course, magnetic.
DC01 is a relatively soft steel and is perfectly suited for forming and deep drawing. Sheet metal panels or cut-to-size pieces of 1.0 mm steel sheet in this quality are easy to work with. The bare, oiled surface requires no preparation for welding. Thus, 1.0 mm thick steel sheet is used not only in the automotive industry but also in countless applications such as:
- mechanical engineering
- shipbuilding
- vehicle construction
- agriculture
- architecture
- pipe and profile industry
- enameling, barrel, and construction industries
- sanitary needs
- for building housings, cabinets, and much more
Sheet metal / steel sheet 1.0 mm – configure dimensions freely, check price, and order online directly
Order your 1.0 mm steel sheet to your specifications online here without hassle. Enter the desired dimensions of the sheet cut in the configurator and find out the price immediately. You can order easily with a click. At Metallparadies, in addition to 1.0 mm steel sheet, you can of course also order all other common thicknesses as custom cuts in any quantity.
You will receive our 1.0 mm steel sheet cold-rolled and oiled. Other available sheet thicknesses in the fine sheet range are
1.0 mm,
1.25 mm,
1.5 mm and
2.0 mm.
Thicker sheets from 3.0 mm (heavy sheets) are available in alloy S235JR. S235JR is a typical base steel for mechanical and structural engineering. These sheets are hot-rolled and therefore have scale on the surface. Both types of sheets develop flash rust quickly when exposed to air. To protect against corrosion, a coating in the form of paints, waxes, oils, powder coatings, or electroplating is required.

How we cut your sheets
Cutting method: Sheets up to 10 mm thick are cut on our hydraulic guillotine shears. Sheets with 12 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm thickness are laser cut by a partner - this will naturally increase the delivery time.
Distortion: Due to shearing, smaller sheets may slightly twist and not lie perfectly flat, especially narrow strips.
Laser-cut parts can also deform slightly due to heat input (thermal distortion). We cannot prevent or correct distortion!
Scratches: Due to general handling, both sides of the sheet will show scratches, which may also be deep. Circular marks from the sheet holder of the shear may appear.
Production marks are unfortunately unavoidable, industry standard, and therefore not a reason for complaint.
By the way: Have you heard of "baking steel"?
In short: Pizza stones are outdated — now it's all about 6 mm steel sheets! In our blog post
>>From steel to baking steel – make your baked goods a hit too<< you'll find all you need to know about the baking steel trend.
Optional: Drilling according to sketch
We can add drill holes to your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of drill holes in the menu. Shortly after purchase, we will
automatically send an email requesting a sketch, subject: "Drillings for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then reply to this email with your sketch. We must clearly recognize the
position of the drill hole center(s) and the
drill diameter.
Your order cannot be started without this sketch!
* Drill holes are round. Slots, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible
drill diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
Optional: Priority Processing
If you're in a hurry, we offer a priority option for an extra fee. That means:
If we receive your prepaid order
Monday through Thursday, it will be processed and shipped within 24 hours. The paid priority option must be selected for
all items in the cart; otherwise, the order will not be prioritized!
This service is not available for all items. If your order exceeds our material or personnel capacity, we will contact you immediately to find a solution. For further questions, feel free to
contact us!
Note: Priority processing only available up to 10 mm material thickness!
Note:
Non-deburred material has sharp edges. Please wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves!
We recommend having the sheets deburred — this inexpensive extra option can be selected in the dropdown menu on the right.
