Titanium Zinc Z Profile with Back Edge – Custom Made Zinc Z Section
Our titanium zinc Z profile with back edge is a durable custom-made metal profile for roofing, cladding, architectural details and fabrication projects.
Also known as a zinc Z section with back edge, this profile is ideal for stepped transitions, cover details, offset edges and clean visible metal finishes.
The additional back edge gives the profile a cleaner and more defined finish.
It helps cover exposed edges, improves profile stability and creates a more professional result where standard Z profiles are not enough.
What is a titanium zinc Z profile with back edge?
A titanium zinc Z profile is a formed metal profile with a Z-shaped cross section.
The added back edge is an additional folded rear edge that improves the finish and helps create a cleaner transition between surfaces.
The material is commonly described as zinc sheet metal or EN988 titanium zinc.
It is valued for its formability, long service life and natural surface development.

The Z-shaped form creates the required offset, while the additional back edge improves the visual finish and helps cover exposed edges more neatly.
This makes the profile a strong choice for roofing details, cladding transitions, architectural metalwork and decorative applications where both appearance and long-term performance matter.

On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also add drill holes to your configured workpiece*. Please select the number of drill holes in the menu. Shortly after completing your purchase, we will automatically send you an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU …., Order number: ....."
Please make sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Simply reply to the email with your sketch attached. We must be able to clearly identify the position of the hole centre(s) and the hole diameter. Without this sketch, your order cannot be processed.
* Drill holes are always circular. Slotted holes, countersinks or rectangular cut-outs are not possible!
The possible hole diameter depends on the material thickness:
- Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø
- Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø
- Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø
How we cut your sheets
Cutting method: Sheets up to and including 10 mm thickness are cut on our hydraulic guillotine shears. Sheets in 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm thickness are laser cut by a partner company, which naturally increases delivery time.
Warping: Due to the cutting process with guillotine shears, smaller sheets may slightly twist or warp. Narrow strips in particular may not lie perfectly flat on an absolutely level surface. The narrower the strip and the thicker the sheet, the stronger this effect becomes. As an alternative, our flat bar products may be more suitable for certain applications.
Even laser-cut sheets may slightly deform due to heat input during the cutting process. Warping cannot be prevented or corrected.
Scratches: Due to general handling and processing, both sides of the sheet may show scratches, including deeper marks. When cut on guillotine shears, circular pressure marks from the sheet hold-down device may also appear.
Production marks are unavoidable, industry standard and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.
