U profile made of stainless steel, double folded
Alloy: 1.4301 or 1.4016 (mirror-like, MAGNETIC)
Surface design and edge angle selectable on the right
Length and dimensions selectable on the right. Attention: Leg B must always be at least 5 mm longer than the shortest other leg, otherwise production is not possible!
All dimensions are internal dimensions in mm (10 mm = 1 cm)
Deburred edges - less risk of injury during assembly!

The U profile is a versatile profile that is often used in a wide variety of areas. Whether in industry, mechanical engineering or in the construction of buildings, where customised U-profiles are used as a base for lightweight walls, for example. Whether as a handrail for balustrades or as a rain gutter, as edge protection for walls, worktops and steps, as edging and/or end profiles for shelves, as a rail for glass panes or simply as a cable duct - there are almost no limits to the use of U-shaped edging profiles.
Advantages of stainless steel U profiles
U shaped stainless steel flashings are insensitive to weather-related influences. They are resistant to water and moisture as well as major temperature fluctuations. For this reason, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is also extremely easy to clean and can therefore be used in kitchens, the food industry and in the medical sector.
Excellent (stainless steel) quality at a good price!
Regardless of whether the U profile is to be isosceles or isosceles (please note the information below) - you can order your U profile cut to size from stainless steel in various thicknesses here. When you configure the sheet metal edging, you can also specify whether your edging sheet should be manufactured with parallel flanges or whether the legs should be at a specific angle.
Notes on the surface designs
Bright rolled: This sheet is not foiled and the surface is not further refined. In other words, just as it comes out of the roller - greyish, with a slightly milky sheen. Both sides will have scratches/stripes from cutting and edging. The sheet may also have stains or writing/stamps. Not suitable for high visual demands!
Mirror-like: Resembles a real glass mirror, but does not achieve its brilliance - the visible side is protected by a film and the other side may have scratches from cutting and edges, stains or writing/stamps.
K240: Fine parallel grooves, sanded lengthwise with a 240 grit abrasive - The visible side is protected by a film and the other side may show scratches from cutting and edging, stains or writing/stamps.
Please note when entering: For production reasons, the web (leg B) must be at least 5 millimetres longer than the shortest other leg.
The profile is supplied without pre-drilled holes; installation by screwing, using adhesive strips, mounting adhesive or construction foam (fixing material NOT included in the scope of delivery).
On request: Drill holes according to sketch
We can also drill holes in your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of drill holes in the menu. Shortly after completing the purchase, we will automatically send an e-mail requesting a sketch, subject: ‘Drill holes for your order: AU ....., order number: .....’.
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the e-mail!
Then simply send us your sketch in response to this e-mail. We must be able to clearly identify the position of the borehole centre(s) and the borehole diameter.
Your order cannot be started without this sketch!
* Boreholes are circular. Oblong holes, countersinks or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible hole diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
