Weather-resistant structural steel S355J2WP
- Dimensions: selectable on the right up to 2000 x 1000 mm (10 mm = 1 cm)
- Thickness: 1.5 mm
Our Corten steel sheet is a high-quality, weather-resistant structural steel characterised by its unique rust appearance. The special alloy ensures that a protective rust layer (patina) forms when exposed to the elements, protecting the material from further corrosion. This makes Corten sheet ideal for outdoor use—for example, for facade cladding, garden projects, raised beds, privacy screens, or decorative design objects. The durable and low-maintenance Corten steel sheet impresses with its high stability and a natural, warm rust color that develops over time. Our Corten sheets are available in various thicknesses and sizes, and custom cuts are also possible. Perfect for anyone looking for a robust yet aesthetically pleasing material for construction and design. Corten steel sheet is also 100% recyclable and sustainable.
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible bore diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
This is how we cut your sheets
Cutting method: Sheets up to and including 10 mm thick are cut on our hydraulic guillotine shears . We have a partner cut sheets in 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm thickness using a laser - this naturally increases the delivery time.
Distortion: When cut with guillotine shears, smaller sheets will twist slightly. Narrow sheet strips in particular will not lie completely flat on a completely flat surface.
Laser-cut sheet metal parts can also deform slightly due to the heat input ( heat distortion ). We cannot prevent or correct warping!
Scratches: Due to general handling, both sides of the sheet will have scratches. The scratches can also be deep. When cutting with guillotine shears, your sheet may have circular marks from the sheet metal hold-down device on the shears.
Production marks are unfortunately unavoidable, standard practice and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.
On request: Priority processing
