Important instructions:
Cutting: Your custom-made blanks are cut from large-format aluminum sheets using hydraulic guillotine shears .
Warpage: Warpage: Thicker sheets and narrow strips will twist slightly during cutting, meaning they will twist or bend. The sheet will therefore not lie completely flat on a smooth surface. We cannot prevent or correct this!
Scratches: Aluminum is a relatively soft metal. Cutting with guillotine shears and subsequent handling will result in scratches on both sides of the sheet. These scratches can be deep. Your sheet may also have circular marks from the sheet clamp on the shear.
Unfortunately, production marks are unavoidable, standard, and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.
Cut edges are unfinished and not deburred . We recommend having the sheets deburred by us at the same time—you can select this inexpensive additional service from the dropdown menu on the right.
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible bore diameter depends on the material thickness:
