These aluminum sheets are often used as lightweight, weatherproof flooring, for example, at sales stands, trade fair booths, or in workshops. They can also be used as overlays for steps or are highly decorative in counter construction.
The embossing makes the sheets extremely slip-resistant, even in wet conditions, making them ideal for use in swimming pools, car washes, or generally for outdoor structures that must be safe to walk on in all weather conditions, such as walkways, rides, floats, sales trailers, tractors, ramps, or bridges.
With greater material thicknesses, a supporting substructure is no longer required, so you can also use these sheets as manhole covers.
Their attractive appearance also makes these sheets interesting for indoor use, for example, when folded as a bumper strip or edge protector – we offer a wide selection in our shop.
Tuning enthusiasts often use thinner sheets as floor mats or non-slip pedal pads in cars. Off-roaders often use them as treads on bumpers or hoods, as trunk floors or bed covers on pickup trucks. With sufficient material thickness, they can also be used as underbody protection or tank protection (skid plates).
In trailer construction, our sheets can be used as trailer floors, as they are lighter than screen-printed panels and absolutely indestructible. They can also be used to cover side walls or loading ramps. After priming (adhesion promoter, primer), they can also be painted as desired.
Important instructions:
Cutting: Your custom-made blanks are cut from large-format aluminum sheets using hydraulic guillotine shears .
Warpage: Thicker sheets and narrow strips will twist slightly during cutting, meaning they will twist or bend. The sheet will therefore not lie completely flat on a smooth surface. We cannot prevent or correct this!
Scratches: Aluminum is a relatively soft metal. Cutting with guillotine shears and subsequent handling will result in scratches on both sides of the sheet. These scratches can be deep. Your sheet may also have circular marks from the sheet clamp on the shears.
Unfortunately, production marks are unavoidable, standard, and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint.
Cut edges are unfinished and not deburred . We recommend having the sheets deburred by us at the same time—you can select this inexpensive additional service from the dropdown menu on the right.
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. After completing your purchase, you will automatically receive an email from our inventory management system requesting a sketch (max. after 30 minutes). Simply reply to the email and send us a sketch showing the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter.
* Holes are circular. Slotted or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible hole diameter depends on the material thickness:
material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5-5.5-6-6.5-7-7.5-8-8.5-9-9.5-10-12 mm Ø,
material thickness from 3 mm: 5-5.5-6-6.5-7-7.5-8-8.5-9-9.5-10-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20 mm Ø.
