These U profiles from our own production are ideal as edge protection or for edging wooden worktops or steps. They can also be used as cable ducts, panelling, guide or slide-in strips, decorative strips or cover strips for outdoor areas, roofs and façades.
Aluminium is a soft metal. Due to the cutting and bending process, both sides of the sheet will show scratches.
Note on configuration: For production reasons, the web (leg B) must be at least 5 millimetres longer than the shortest other leg. Please take this into account when entering your data.
On request: Drill holes according to sketch
We can also drill holes in your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of drill holes in the menu. Shortly after completing the purchase, we will automatically send an e-mail requesting a sketch, subject: ‘Drill holes for your order: AU ....., order number: .....’.
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the e-mail!
Then simply send us your sketch in response to this e-mail. We must be able to clearly identify the position of the borehole centre(s) and the borehole diameter.
Your order cannot be started without this sketch!
* Boreholes are circular. Oblong holes, countersinks or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible hole diameter depends on the material thickness:
Material thickness up to 1.25 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 1.5 to 2.5 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Ø,
Material thickness from 3 mm: 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 9 mm, 9.5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm Ø.
New: Enter either internal or external dimensions!
For our self-folded products, all dimensions are specified as internal dimensions in millimetres as standard. We can easily and reliably fulfil your desired product dimensions with our specified tolerances.
However, you may need a specific external dimension for your application. As an exception, we therefore offer you the option of specifying dimensions as external dimensions. This service is subject to a surcharge!
The reason for this is that the production of flashings with specific external dimensions on our machines is considerably more complex. It requires a lot of experience and in many cases a series of tests with test pieces.
We therefore ask for your understanding for the surcharge. If the results of our tests are not satisfactory, we will unfortunately have to reject your order - but you will not incur any costs.
