These U-profiles from our own production are ideal as edge protection or for edging wooden worktops or stair treads. They are also suitable for cable ducts, cladding, guide or insertion strips, and cover strips for outdoor use, as well as for roofs and facades.
Please note the following when selecting the material: Sheets in "Natural Aluminum AlMg3" are not foil-coated. Due to the cutting and bending process, both sides of the sheet will therefore have scratches/streaks. Since aluminum is a soft metal, scratches can be deep. Profiles in "Natural Aluminum AlMg3" are intended for technical applications only. The focus is on the material properties, not the appearance!
For particularly decorative applications in interior or living areas, we recommend the K240 stainless steel version: Custom-made stainless steel U-profile
. Note on configuration: For manufacturing reasons, the web (leg B) must be at least 5 millimeters longer than the shortest other leg. Please keep this in mind when entering the data.
On request: Drilling according to sketch
We can also drill holes into your configured workpiece*.
Please select the number of holes from the menu. Shortly after your purchase is completed, we will automatically send an email requesting a sketch. Subject: "Drill holes for your order: AU ....., Order number: .....".
Be sure to read the PDF document attached to the email!
Then simply send us your sketch as a reply to this email. We need to be able to clearly identify the position of the hole center(s) and the hole diameter .
Without this sketch, your order cannot be started!
* Holes are circular. Slotted holes, countersinks, or rectangular holes are not possible!
The possible bore diameter depends on the material thickness:

For our self-bent products, all dimensions are specified as internal dimensions in millimeters as standard . We can easily and reliably adhere to your desired product dimensions using our specified tolerances.
However, you may require a specific external dimension for your application. Therefore, as an exception, we offer the option of specifying dimensions as external dimensions . This service is subject to an additional charge!
This is because producing bent parts with specific external dimensions on our machines is significantly more complex. It requires considerable experience and, in many cases, a series of tests with sample pieces.
Please understand the surcharge. Should the results of our tests be unsatisfactory, we will unfortunately have to reject your order – but this will not incur any costs for you.
